What's built in, and what we haven't tested yet.
Built in
- WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the target.
- A skip link, full keyboard use, and a visible focus outline everywhere.
- Every text colour measured against its background. The lowest contrast on the site is 5.6 to 1, over the 4.5 to 1 minimum.
- Keeper, Junk drawer and Donation bin are always written out. The colours only back up the words.
- The little swing on the gift tags only happens if your device allows motion.
- Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels.
Not tested yet
Nobody who uses a screen reader every day has tested the site yet. There are no photos on the site yet either, so our alt text practice hasn't been put to work.
